Labor Day Craft Retreat - some serious crafting is occurring this weekend!

I'm spending the weekend at Memory Lane Inn, in McKinney, TX with five of my crafting friends.  I'll be posting cards for the upcoming Septmber stamp nights/stamp camp as well as the upcoming Holiday card stamp a stacks, so check back in a few days to see the fun projects coming up!

The three cards below are from my New Holiday Catalog open house at the beginning of August.

On this card I used Summer Starfruit, Pumpkin Pie, and Very Vanilla card stock, Witches' Brew Designer Series Paper, the Halloween Bash stamp set, Basic Black Chevron ribbon, and the Basic Black, Summer Starfruit, and Pumpkin pie re-inkers.  I did the baby wipe stamp technique with the re-inkers.

On this card I used Crumb Cake, Strawberry Slush, Gumball Green and Whisper White card stock, En Francais and Joyful Christmas stamp sets, Crumb Cake, Strawberry Slush Classic Stampin' pads, Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' pad, Versamark, White embossing powder, Expression Thinlit Dies, Silver Foil Sheets, Burlap ribbon, Linen Thread, Frosted Embellishments, and Jewel Rhinestones.

On this card I used Crushed Curry, Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky, Tangerine Tango, and Very Vanilla card stock, Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper, Truly Grateful stamp set, Chocolate Chip and Soft Sky Classic Stampin' pads, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake, and Tangerine Tango Stampin' Write makers, Bitty Banner Frame Lits, and the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.

This Paper Pumpkin kit came with the supplies to make four cards like this one.   Here I added a scrap butterfly and some pearl jewels to bling it up a bit. and here I added a small ribbon with the 1/4 " stitched grosgrain ribbon.  The one above is made per the Paper Pumpkin kit instructions.  On the one to the right, I added some 7/16" Natural Trim, a small flower (itty bitty punch pack) and stamped the greeting on a hexagon using the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set, punched with the hexagon punch.   This Paper Pumpkin kit had three stamps (Seriously, You kick booty, and Love your guts).  I made all the cards from this kit per the instructions because I thought it had enough going on (and I love the colors).   This was my first Paper Pumpkin kit and straying from the instructions didn't really dawn on me (I'm an accountant go figure), but I did add some baker's twine from the Tag a Bag kit as plain buttons are just to plain!       This Paper Pumpkin kit is one of two I've not yet but together.  This one is a banner kit and the other is a brag book kit.  The brag book kit is super cute and I'll post as soon as I get it done.  This kit I think I'll probably use as in a scrapbook too.  It came with two ink's and three background stamps in addition to the stuff to make four banners.
